My love for photography was probably kindled by my two bigger, surviving brothers. They loved taking pictures with various Kodak Instamatic and Polaroid.

There was something about watching the image immerse or developed after receiving the prints back from the lab which fascinated me.

But I could only fantasize about owning my own camera until the day I ordered my own from a mail order catalogue. It was a Russian model, a Zenith E or something like that.

When it arrived I went around shooting anything and everything that moved. I waited many hours for clouds to snake across the sky just to get composition right.

Photography remains one of my greatest passions and I cannot see that love dying any time soon!
